Fun in our nation's capitol

This weekend, Annie had her first excursions around DC.  On Friday night, she rode the metro for the first time to go get some Ethiopian food with Candice and Sharat. The food itself was also a first for me and my mom... not bad!


We spent Saturday and Sunday with Uncle Dave, Aunt Charlene, and Danielle.  We hit Eastern Market, then headed down to the Mall to walk around by the monuments and memorials.

On Sunday, we went to Mass at CUA, which brought back lots of memories! Then we walked through the Basilica and around the zoo.

Annie had some fun, saw the owls, and tried to catch some zzz's when she could. :)


She has been having some fun baths in the bathroom sink, so we took a quick video of her splashing and hanging with the rubber ducky!
