She just keeps getting cuter and funnier :)
And time just keeps on ticking! It's been a busy month and we still haven't had our party yet for Annie's long ago birthday. The good news is that it's next weekend. The bad news (for anyone coming) is that we don't have any big plans... hoping Annie will be in an entertaining mood.
The new tricks this month have been mostly involving walking! She gets around really fast now, and when she falls down she can get back up without pulling on anything as long as she can stick her butt way out in the air... sometimes the wall gets in the way. She also learned how to climb up stairs this weekend at the Massini beach house (we'll have to work on "down" next time).
She still really likes to read. Over on the side, you can see her reading her Peekaboo book, fun to flip open the hiding panels! She also enjoys brushing her teeth and her hair, and is in general a good natured kid. We've had a few more tantrums this month now that her daycare has weaned her to a single nap during the day and us stubborn parents haven't moved her bedtime up much. Mostly because we're not home very early and the routine just can't change a whole lot. The couple days that Greg and Lisa have been watching her she has gone to bed as early as 6:30!
Annie and John have been enjoying some bike rides with the new trailer. Here are a couple cute pictures of her in her helmet (John looks pretty cute, too!), and then both of them totally pooped out.
She does occasionally wear things other than this pink heart shirt... for some reason all the pictures this month are in that. :) I've gotten a bit lax about photos, what with all the studying and illness and Annie-mobility lately.
John is now on vacation for a couple of weeks, so he and Annie took another trip down to the beach without me. I'm hoping to be productive in their absence. Here they were on Saturday, when we were all down there. Our camera battery was dead, so I have one shot from my phone.
Annie likes to pick out good books to read from her corner. She also likes to dance.
Oh, that reminds me... just an FYI if you watch any of the videos I posted on here, the ones that come up as recommendations when the video ends are NOT ours... just other ones likely marked "baby" on YouTube. Ours are marked unlisted, so they don't come up on searches or by topic and won't be linked to each other. Sorry for any confusion. To make up for it, I will put a couple at the end.
