Surprise post! Video fun

Just took some of these off the Flip, figured I'd share them with you. :)

Annie has a ton of fun with her stacking cups. Mostly, she likes to UN-stack them, whether they are in tower form or all nested. She prefers them strewn over all corners of the living room.  She has recently also figured out how to put one inside the other, though, and there's one shot of her doing that.  The idea of "in" started in the bathtub with her fish cup and the purple octopus that fits perfectly inside.







She is also VERY close to walking. She'll take one step sometimes without assistance but then promptly sits down. She still loves to cruise everywhere, and this walking cart/riding wagon is a fun toy for her right now because she can get places on her feet that she would have had to crawl to before. Still working on the idea of steering.  She can stand now for maybe 5-6 seconds; she makes it the longest if her hands are occupied (usually clapping for herself, or banging two toys together).  Maybe the next post will be a video of her taking more steps!



Annie's chattering is still pretty constant. More mmmm's in there now (music to mom's ears!), but the majority is still da-da-da. She is fairly purposeful in trying to say either "doggy" or "Sadie" (comes out Da-di!) when she sees Sadie for the first time in the morning... it's hard to know which of those she's going for :) 

She has also become very interested in the curtain and window next to the front door in the last couple of weeks, and just recently has started eating table food really well. Today she was choosing asparagus and carrot pieces over the puffs on her tray!! She's going to start Baby Gator provided meals tomorrow at daycare.





Her birthday is obviously rapidly approaching, although I think we're looking at delaying the party until March... maybe a 13 month party! :)

We just put her big girl convertible carseat in John's car today, and a second one for my little car is on its way. It's foldable, so we're hoping if Aunt Lisa ever needs a seat in her car it will be easy to move.
