6 months--as requested ;)

Yes, it's true, our little girl is 1/2 year old.

Sorry for the delay, a stomach bug (sounds so innocent, doesn't it?) had us out of commission for the couple days immediately following this momentous occasion.  Apparently it also got several other parents and teachers at the daycare, but thankfully the kids seem immune.  Go figure. Then there's been the whole leak/drying/repair/wall tear out/wall repair/carpet replacement adventure. And the upcoming exam that I really need to be studying for.

Anyway, Annie is slowly getting a little bigger but quickly growing up!  She's now a whopping 12 lbs, 12 oz. She is very close to sitting up on her own, and loves to stand with assistance, too. She babbles and babbles all the time, with some mama's but mostly baba and dada.  My favorite new trick of hers is blowing kisses.  Of course, we get super excited when she does it and then she gets excited, too. She thinks most things are hilarious, except if she's hungry.  She is eating bananas, cereal (oatmeal is apparently much better than rice cereal, or so she says!), applesauce, avocado (not her fave), and now tonight just had some peas.  I would like to try carrots and sweet potatoes next. 






Annie is a bit of a rolling fool.  She goes frontwards and backwards and sideways and longways and ... oh, wait, that's the Wonka-vator. But she does roll all over the place. No attempts at crawling yet, thank goodness.  She now really loves her play mats.  And ooh, as I type this, I just remembered that she has some 6 month and up toys in her room that we can open now!


She really is the sweetest little girl, and just keeps getting cuter everyday.
